Afriqiyah Airways has commenced a twice-weekly service between Misrata and Cairo, using an Airbus A320
According to a report from Libya Herald, the airline claims that the first flight carried 140 passengers, while the captain said that there were only 25 people on board.
The airline said that although it has only just started, flights from Misrata to Cairo, and also to Benghazi are already “largely fully booked”.
